DAY ONE and TWO
Kim – a friend at work and makes things happen guy hooked me up with some sweet friends of his in HK and they’ve showed me round and driven me everywhere and bought me dinner and I would have been sleeping under a bridge with a copy of the HK times if they hadn’t helped me out last minute.
I now have three luggage tags, a few fans, a neon pink plastic watch that doesn’t work and carpet burn on my knees from trying to reshuffle my worldly possessions on the HK airport floor.
I also have fine tuned taste buds. I couldn’t handle a lot of the drinks, and when I finally did find one i liked – I said ‘tell me what is this elixir of the gods?’ turned out I really like coffee. I did eat pork knuckles and chicken feet though – that’s gotta count for something
Anyway, that’ll have to cover two days in HK cos I was slack and didn’t get the first day, but stay tuned, there’s more where that gold came from.
I had to use some serious investigative skills – and half an hour on the taxpayer – to find you. But well worth the find my pretty. I will be checking in daily. MISS YOU!!!
